It was a very interesting and enjoyable experience. The food was amazing and sitting next to strangers was great as people chatted with whoever was sat next to them or opposite them. The pay what you could afford was a new experience, but an explanation of how it works above where you ordered food and very friendly staff to explain it was a simple concept. Give it a try, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Nice place to chill and socialise. They have a charity shop with furniture and clothes and toys for children. They also sell coffee and drinks. There is a bicycle project and a place to relax.

Visiting my dad and came here and loved it; great concept and brilliant idea of contributions for food and those who have money can pay more in order for those less privileged can eat and pay less. Managed to buy a wooden side table that have been looking to find for ages. Boys had a lovely time and played table tennis. Fantastic atmosphere

The Long Table is an absolutely amazing community initiative. Good food and pay as you can afford. You can also pay forward and give generously to help feed people who may need it. Also, has live music most weekends or something going on. Sign up for their newsletters. There's also a second hand furniture area and a Kids Stuff initiative.

One of our favourites. We always visit whilst at Stroud. Lovely, homely atmosphere with a great range of retro furniture, Bicycles and preloaded items. Delicious vegan cakes too!
